Sick Week!!!

So this last week has not been that good at our house. First, I got really sick with a nasty viral infection, then we found out that Payton had pneumonia (poor little guy), then Reed got sick with the same thing I did. Needless to say this last week has not been the best. I think that we visited the doctor everyday last week and it's continuing into this week too. Today I found out that I have another ovarian cyst and Payton had an ultrasound on his carotid artery in his neck but luckily that turned out to be ok, it's just how he was built.
We did find out some good news about Reed's back though, and hopefully we can get him fixed. The doctor thinks that he might have a back fracture, and if that be the case then he can do a procedure that will help a lot, so we are crossing our fingers. He also is getting a steroid epidural in his back in a next week and we're hoping that that helps a little.
We are grateful for great doctors who take such great care of us though and for the wonderful love and support we get from our friends and family. Thanks guys, we love you!!!!

Happy 30th Birthday Reed!!!!

Happy Birthday Reed!!!!! I can't believe that Reed is the big 3-0, it seems so crazy, what is even more crazy is that I met Reed 9 years ago. I love Reed so much and can't imagine my life without him. He is such an amazing man, husband and father. I feel so lucky that he is mine!!!!
On Sunday we had some family and friends over for cake and ice cream, I wanted to make a big deal out of his 30th birthday, thank you to everyone that came, it is always fun to get together. Today Payton and I brought Reed some balloons and lunch to Reed, and we decorated to house with 30 hearts saying all the reasons we love Reed and we got Costa Vida and had a nice night at home as a family, it was so much fun. We love you babe, thanks for all that you do for us, happy birthday!!!!!

December Update

I'm sorry that I am so bad at this, I guess I'll be lucky to get in monthly posts, I'll try to be better. Here is what happened in December. We had a great month, we got to spend a lot of time with our family & friends which is always fun. We had our annual Sargent family Christmas party which is always fun and nice to see everyone. We he Sal and the kids come over and my mom & sister watched the kids while Sallie and I went out shopping, we had so much fun. My mom had a big Birthday and we went to Texas Road House for a yummy diner. For craft day we made watches, they turned out so cute. Payton had his first preschool Christmas Program, it was fun, they did a play and his part was "Every year we make cookies and hang our stocking, we wait for Santa, but he never comes" and he did so good, I was proud of him. We had a couple of Doctor's appointments (like usual) we took Reed up to a new back surgeon in Salt Lake, it went well and we are waiting for results for his CT scan and Bone scan, we are crossing our fingers for an answer and some help. Payton & I both got sick with sinus infections and bronchitis, he also had an ear infection, thank heavens for antibiotics and cough syrup. Payton also hurt his leg between his knee and hip, on New Years Eve he wouldn't even move, which if you know Payton is not like him at all even when he is super sick he still tries to be happy, so we knew something was wrong. We took him to the Instacare on New Year's (staring the year off with a bang of course) and they did an x-ray, luckily it was not broken but they thought that he had a deep contusion in the muscle or bone, so they wrapped it up and told us to come back if it was still hurting in a few days. It has been really weird to have him actually sit and not be running around like crazy. We hung out with Jess and Sal, we always have so much fun and laugh a ton. On New Years Eve we we got to hang out with my family, we played a couple of fun games and ate yummy food, thanks mom and dad for such a fun night!!! I can't believe how fast the time is flying by and that it is already 2010!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

This year we had a great Christmas, we had so much fun and it was nice to be with family and friends. We had our annual Kennington Christmas Eve party, we missed it last year because we were in Hawaii, so we were happy to be back. We get together and have dinner and exchange gifts and play "the game" it is always so much fun. This year Reed and I walked away with a nice drill with drill bits and a nice toaster, it was a blast, thank you Kirk and Karren for such a fun night!!!
Payton had a sleepover in our room so that Santa could come, daddy went out to make sure Santa had come and he did. Payton was so cute he got a big boy chair, games, a guitar, clothes, a sled, kinex and a trio box, but what he really wanted was a four-wheeler but it wasn't under the tree. It was so cute he said "see mommy I didn't get a four-wheeler and I'm not even crying", and the whole time you could tell that he was really disapointed but was trying to be so tuff, it broke my heart. Luckily the very last gift was a box wrapped for Payton with a poem inside that said that there was one more big gift waiting for him, and sure enough when he went upstairs there was his big red powerwheels four-wheeler, his face was priceless.
We had such a great Christmas and we even got to talk to uncle Mark, only 7 more months!!!! Thank you to everyone for everything, and especially thanks to my sweet Reed and Payton, I love you!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I have so many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, I just wanted to share a few.
I am so grateful for such an amazing husband who I love more than anything. I am thankful for all that he does for our family, and the sacrifices that he makes for us. He is my rock and I look up to and admire him. I'm thankful for all the hugs, kisses and I love you's he gives to me and the cute little notes that he leaves. Thanks honey for all that you do for Payton & I, we love you so much!!!
I am thankful for a sweet little boy who is our pride and joy. He is always making us smile and laugh, especially with his singing and great dance moves, I thank Heavenly Father everyday for him. I love the cute things he says to us like, "you're the best mommy & daddy in the world" or "you're beautiful mommy", and for all the "I love you's", the list goes on and on and I am so grateful for it and cherish it. Also for the cute prayers that he says without any help, it is the cutest thing to hear the things that he prays for. I love the little hugs & kisses and the times he snuggles with me, thanks Payt for being you, we love you!!!
I'm grateful for wonderful family & friends who do so much for us, what would we do without you. Thank you everyone for always being there for us and all that you do. We have so many great examples around us and we can't say thank you enough, we hope you know just how much you mean to us. We love you!!!!!
It is nice to have a time of year that we can reflect on just how much we have to be thankful for, I am grateful for so many things, I could go on forever. We are very blessed, but I am especially thankful to our Heavenly Father and Jesus for all that they do and give to us. Thank you everyone for being a part of our life and everything you do. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Our cute family!!!

November Update

Well I have been slacking, the time is just flying by way to quickly. I just thought that I would catch up on what has been going on the past few weeks. Payton is just getting bigger and just as sweet as ever. I feel so lucky that I have been able to stay at home with him, he defiantly is a mama's boy and I'm loving every minute. He was invited to his first birthday party for Riley, a little girl in his preschool class, it seems so crazy that my baby is getting so big. Ever since preschool started he has been talking about Riley calling her his "girlfriend" and she has told her parents that she is going to marry Payton, it's funny to hear them talk about it, but it's defiantly starting way too early.
It was also my 28th birthday, holy cow I never thought that I'd be that old. On Saturday we went to Texas Road House with our good friends Sallie & Jesse, it was so good. We had a great time, Reed told them it was my birthday, they make you sit on a saddle while the sing to you, a little embarrassing but it was funny. We always have so much fun with Sal & Jess, we went to their house after and just hung out, it was a great night, thanks guys. On Sunday, my b-day I had to do sharing time, fun huh, it went well though and I was glad to have it over with. Reed and Payton made it a great day and we had dinner with my family. Payton wanted to say the prayer and it was the cutest thing ever it was all about mommy and I think that everyone had tears in their eyes, I loved it. Thanks everyone for making it such a great day!
We also had craft day, which we have once a month with Reed's mom and all the girls. It is so much fun, we have lunch and make the cutest things, this month we made cute weekly menu boards. We have made aprons, decorations sewing projects, frozen meals, the list goes on, we all love it
